The day after the closure on January 1986 and the situation in 2005 (2009 will follow in the near future)

                                                                        The day after the closure, Prof. Jan MELKEBEEK from the University of Ghent had the bright idea to walk around the airfield and gave us these unforgettable but sad pictures of our beloved airfield?

In the summer of 2005, I overflew the site and made following pictures of the 2005 situation - The airfield was replaced by an Hotel, an exposition hall and a huge parking !  SHAME SHAME SHAME
